A special cell has been constituted by MoWR in December,2004 under Commissioner (PR), MoWR to look after the residual routine work of the Task Force on Interlinking of Rivers (TF-ILR) and for taking follow up action on the ILR programme under the Ministry of Water Resources. The special cell shall work within the over all scheme of NWDA. Ministry of Water Resources shall provide funds to NWDA to defray additional expenses on account of the special cell.
