Scrutiny of all works pertaining to Chief Engineer(South) Office; and also assist the Chief Engineer(HQ) in execution of programs relating to the studies of the Peninsular and Himalayan Components of the National Perspective Plan; responsible for the management of the unit officials and exercise administrative control; provide reply of RTI queries related to NWDA studies/links pertaining to Chief Engineer(South) Office; and provide technical guidelines and directions to the Field Officers under Chief Engineer(South) jurisdictions.
