Chief Engineer(North)
NWDA has mainly 2 field Establishments for overseeing the mandated works entrusted for the Northern and Southern Regions and are respectively located at Lucknow and Hyderabad. The field organization at Lucknow is headed by Chief Engineer (North).
As on date, under the Chief Engineer (North) organizational set up, there are 3 Investigation Circles (ICs) and are situated at Gwalior, Bhubaneswar and Patna. The Chief Engineer (North) is assisted by the Superintending Engineer (SE) of the concerned IC, namely SE (Gwalior), SE (Bhubaneswar) and SE (Patna).
The ICs of Gwalior, Bhubaneswar and Patna have respectively three, three and two Investigation Divisions(IDs). Each ID is headed by Executive Engineer(EE), namely EE(Jhansi), EE (Bhubaneswar), EE (Patna), EE (Bhopal), EE (Kolkata), EE (Lucknow), EE (Gwalior)., and EE (Rajahmundry). There is one Investigation Sub-Division (ISD) also under the Chief Engineer (North) organisational set up and is ISD, Jaipur functioning under the control of EE (Gwalior).
